Blog Logo

Hey ya'll! This week my class was challenged to create a logo for our blogs. After all day of trying out new fonts, colors, sizes, images and themes, I'm very happy to share my final product with ya'll.

I mentioned in my first blog post that I am an advocate for mental health, body image, learning disabilities and adoption. Since day one I have worked to make this blog a safe haven for those who are struggling right now, and I wanted my logo to reflect that message to other viewers.

The butterfly is a symbol of transformation, strength, beauty and hope. All of which relate to the core message I want to spread. No matter how hard you may be struggling right now, and no matter how hopeless it may seem to keep going, I promise you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I promise you will break out of your cocoon and spread your big beautiful wings one day (the beautiful wings it might not even know it has). I want ya'll to know that you matter, you are seen, you are heard and you are loved.

You'll notice I used mostly light colors (except for the title) and that is because all of what I have been talking about and will keep talking about, is a process. The light tones are meant to symbolize starting out on a new journey. The colors are simple and not overwhelming. As you continue on in your journey, your colors will become more bold and radiant, but for now your colors are light and tranquil.

If you know someone who you think might benefit from viewing this blog then please share this with them. Everyone deserves to live a happy life. No one should feel so alone in this world, and that is my mission.
